Monitoring of online examinations will be conducted directly by University staff and is bound by the University's privacy and security requirements. If you are worried about your personal space being observed during a class, we encourage you to blur your background or make use of a virtual background. Using a webcam is optional, but highly encouraged, as this will facilitate interaction with your peers and instructors. Use of your Webcam and Digital Devices: If you enrol in an online class, or the online stream of a hybrid class, teaching and associated activities will be conducted using Teams, Zoom, or similar a technology. Keep track of your points on your myBCom Dashboard and progress against your COMM3999 mandatory activities. You should be working consistently and participating in points earning activities across your second and third years. You will need to accumulate a minimum of 40 points for each PLO during the upper years of your studies including at least 10 experience points for each. You need to accumulated at least 25 points for each of your learning outcomes to pass the course, as well as complete a number of mandatory activities (listed on the Dashboard) and these are best achieved if you work on these throughout your first year.ĬOMM3999 is completed in the final term of your degree, and must be completed to satisfy your graduation requirements. Regularly log on to the myBCom Dashboard platform to track your progress and select learning activities to ensure you meet all learning outcome point requirements.ĬOMM1999 is completed in the term immediately following your last IFY course, and must be completed before you can enrol in your mandatory Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course which you will complete in your second or third year. It is important that you work on meeting your mandatory activities and myBcom points requirements across your whole degree (including the terms when you are not enrolled in one of these 3 courses). COMM0999, COMM1999 and COMM3999 and are completed sequentially at different points in your degree. The course is the first of the 'myBCom suite' of courses guiding your use of the myBCom platform. ​COMM0999 is a 0 Unit of Credit course that is required to be completed in the first term of your Bachelor of Commerce degree.
